Beginning Marathon Training – Run 1

It is me here, The Running Guy. I am starting a series of articles that will chronicle my training for my 2nd marathon. The race that I am registered for is the Calgary Marathon and it takes place on the July 8, 2007. Last year I ran the race and finished in approx 4 hours and 50 minutes – way beyond my goal of 4 hours and 20 minutes. This year I strive to hit 4 hours and 20 minutes or better. There will not be a tonne of verbiage in my reports as I am going to try to post the details of each of my runs. A big undertaking but it should be interesting…
